Lenny Speaks

Who’s Lenny? Well, Let’s See.

The ability of sense, practical knowledge about a subject plaguing our Western culture is truly unique. He knows what it’s like to be in debt up to your eyeballs and turn it back around without bankruptcy.

His practical, common sense philosophies, about money matters, were taught to him early by his parents. Like most of us he rejected the advice.

At the age of thirty-three, he decided to work his way out of the debt hole. Well, actually his wife, Jackie, persuaded him to make the decision. The journey was nothing like he thought it might be. It took turns and sometimes unexpected reversals that were fun, exciting and resulted in a life experience he never expected.

The lessons they learned along the way were so simple. Most people don’t even think about considering the ideas, because of their simplicity.

The concepts were right there before their eyes all the time. They thought it should be harder than that. It was almost as easy as simply deciding to be debt free. Simply set a goal and just do it.

He studies the subject. He lives it and walks his talk.

His philosophy is “We too can do … what we set our mind to.” His mission is to help people rid themselves of the burdens their debt creates.Lenny Tumbarello 19

He and Jackie live in Arizona. They spend the winters in the greater Phoenix area, with a trip down the Baja of Mexico every couple of years. They spend their summers up at the Grand Canyon, simply enjoying.

Lenny is presently on the Promotion Trail of his book, No Balance Due.

He helps audiences discover and choose for themselves, the principles that transformed his financial world on the fast track to debt-free. He doesn’t force feed anyone. Lenny simply shares his experiences and allows the listener to pick and choose what’s right for them.

His programs are ideal for most audiences. High schools, colleges, church groups, civic clubs, chambers of commerces, youth groups, companies, association’s and more find Lenny’s message illuminating.

Why he wrote a get-out-of-debt book.

No Balance Due came about completely by accident. Because of a couple of business closures and the sale of the assets, Lenny and his wife took a long trip in their camper during the spring of 1997.

They discovered there were people who worked during the summers and played during the winters. They worked at campgrounds, amusement parks and state & national parks all across America. Since Lenny & Jackie had No Balance Due in their lives, this lifestyle was attainable.

They fell in love with the Grand Canyon and would go to work there beginning that very summer. For the next several years, they’d show people the Grand Canyon during the summers and travel back and forth along Interstate 10 in their RV during the winters. What a blast.

Meanwhile, their adult children were getting deeper and deeper into debt. It was on Lenny’s mind to write down for his children, just what they’d experienced about finances and how they’d achieved their No Balance Due.

He’d always wanted to be a public speaker of sorts. Jackie suggested he should look into this speaking thing and give it a whirl.

In July of 2004, he attended a convention of speakers to hang around and see just what it is these folks do. The very first thing he found out was, he should have a topic. What a GREAT IDEA!

On the third evening of this conference, he found himself eating dinner with seven others, six of whom talked about borrowing money, debt consolidation, home equity loans and refinancing.

The majority of the folks sitting at that table were in debt up to their eyeballs. That’s when it hit him. Hey man - this is a topic - it cuts across all segments of our society. It’s something he knew about from first hand experience.

Next, assuming he needed to research the topic, he read forty-seven books on the subject. This effort took almost nine months. Some of the author’s were right on target. It seemed, several were actually suggesting implementing exactly the wrong strategies to get out of debt. During that process was actually when the decision was made to write No Balance Due.

To keep it interesting a lot of short stories were used. Lenny felt most of the people experiencing difficulties in this area want simple, easily read stories in their search for answers. He feels it’s been one of the greatest experiences of his short lifetime and says he learned a whole lot more about life during the process.
